Thank you so much for making all this information about this great harmonica wizard available. Mr. Bailey has been a big influence, and inspiration ever since I started playing harmonica. I'm really enjoying listening to all the audio clips here.
Thank you so much for sharing this information. I remember my Dad always telling the story that Mr. Bailey was the first musician that ever performed on the Grand Ole Opry. My dad like myself was a longtime radio broadcaster. If have enjoyed reading all of your comments and loved to be able to listen to the music from one of WSM's first musicians.

I sure appreciate this site and its available music. I'm an avid harmonic player and have been hugely influenced by Deford ever since I hear his music on Yazoo's Harmonic legends album. In fact in two days I'm going into the studio to attempt to cut a song of his for a hidden track on a friends album I sure am glad for sites like this that can help me understand a little more about the man behind the music.
